Today we had a CREW-parents conference with a focus on receiving Romanian guests and get housing for them. Our CREW-religion and Swedish teacher, Katarina Berglund, has been the hostess and organizer of today’s meeting. Stefan, Christina and Christer have helped her.
Tonight’s guests, Lennart Gustavsson and his daughter, Therése (our student, E21c on Aestheticians programme focusing dance), have spoken of their own experiences as Swedish hosts and as tourists in Romania. Lennart is a politician and food ambassador. He plays accordion and dance Linedance since many years. Therése rides when she did not dance or teach dance. Their horses are also a large part of their leisure time.

They also told about the trip to Romania, visits to Auschwitz, and more and they have responded to our CREW-parent issues. They have participated in a previous EU projects Örjanskolan, BONDS, Lennart as a parent representative and Therése as a student. Christina has been the project’s Romanian teachers and Andrea have been the project’s interpreter on the Romania trip. A memory for life!
Representatives from the CREW -hospitality group, Nils and Benjamin, told a bit about their planning activities with our Romanian guests. The Romanians will be with us from March 16th until 26th March.
Christina and Katarina have been baking for the evening and they invited the CREW-parents to a cup of coffee. It appreciated by our CREW-youngs!

Christina and Andrea have done a little exhibitions of Romanian handicrafts.

Christer has shared our thoughts on our trip to Romania.

The meeting ended with that all parents were invited to complete the number of Romanian students they have the opportunity to receive and for how many days.
Thank you all nice CREW -parents and students who have made this evening so vivid and instructive! Thanks Lennart and Therése you for taking your time to share with us your very valuable experience! It was estimated!

Thank you! The blog is the result of hard work that lasted over two years.
