A late update!
(Today = Monday, March 22)
Today was the day we all had been waiting for, The World Water Day. When we came to school we started to put up some tables where we displayed our things. We had a lot of different stations, for example William and Emelies, they showed their work about the Gulf of Bothnia and they also had candy you could get at a lucky dip, what we in Sweden call “fiskdamm”, as long as you paid up. Hannes and Jacob, Olov and Samuel, Dennis and Isak also had one station each where they had different activities. In our opinion The World Water Day was quite successful even though we had hoped that people at our school would have shown more interest in the day. After that it was lunchtime. Today’s lunch was korv stroganoff, a fantastic lunch! After that it was time for some of us to go to TeknoBalder and for others to have regular lessons.
Then it was time for us to visit the water purification plant. We had two personal guides who had worked there for a long time. The smell at the water purification plant was unbearable in almost every single room and the noise was very loud which made it really hard for us to hear what the guides were saying. But overall I think it was a decent tour considering the circumstances.
The World Water Day and other stuff !
