Cooperation During Class Exchanges

Lifelong Learning ProgrammeThis is a project into Lifelong Learning Programme Comenius, a School Partnerships SWEDENROMANIA.

The first contact between the students will be on arrival when they are introduced to their host student, whom they are going to stay with. The host student will serve not only as a local guide but also as the work partner to the guest student.

As the actual work begins, the students will discuss the best way to address the different issues on the agenda either in pairs or in larger groups. All activities are planned in advance through e-mail and are also presented on the blog.

The mixed groups of Romanian and Swedish students will compare, analyse and draw conclusions of their findings. The results will be presented in cross-groups. Both the theoretical and the practi-cal side of the scientific matter have then been covered.

Host students will show their guests the city, present the school system and invite them to attend different lessons. In the computer room team activities will be organized in order to finalize a re-port on the studied domain and at the same time updating the blog. Language lessons organized in multinational teams will promote the study of foreign languages.

Typically regional activities will be organized, such as snowmobile safari, jigging on ice, a visit to an elk farm, skating, etc.

Cultural visits will achieve the goals concerning multiculturalism, better knowledge of the partner country’s civilisation and history. Students will do study visits to a science centre and they will be asked to solve tasks together as pairs with their contact students or in mixed groups, thus further encouraging cooperation and communication between students.
