Integration into Learning and/or Other Ongoing Activities

Lifelong Learning ProgrammeThis is a project into Lifelong Learning Programme Comenius, a School Partnerships SWEDENROMANIA.

For the Swedish students all of the activities are integrated into the curriculum and the following subjects are included: Biology (ecology included), Social Studies, Modern Languages (English, Romanian and Swedish). The teachers of the different subjects are responsible for integrating the project into the curriculum and continuously involving and preparing the students. For example, activities such as writing blog, preparing presentations about the classroom, school, culture, etc.

For the Romanian students all of the activities are integrated into the curriculum and the following subjects are included: Chemistry, Biology (ecology included), Social Studies, Modern Languages (English, Romanian and Swedish).

The target group will represent the students of the 10-th grade whose ICT lessons will focus (as application to the lessons taught in the classroom) on the research activities, the setup of the blog and also on communication in English.

The crosscurricular approach will be achieved by integrating into the English lessons the activities of datasheet creation, the setup of the blog and the editing of the essays.

Attending lessons during the two class exchanges will represent also activities integrated into learning activities.

By participating and finalising this project the students will extend their ways of thinking and analysing, in doing so they will approach a scientific way of working and thinking, in their own environment and in the European classroom, in accordance with the curriculum of the upper secondary school.
