Organisation of Class Exchanges

Lifelong Learning Programme
This is a project into Lifelong Learning Programme Comenius, a School Partnerships SWEDENROMANIA.

The Romanian school

Students will participate in sessions of Swedish language basics taught by a Romanian teacher with Swedish language knowledge. The sessions will be done with all students involved in the activities of the project, a minimum of 25 hours being envisaged. Due to the big differences between the two languages the expected level of proficiency will be “BEGINNER”. Basics of the language will be pre-sented, some common expressions will be taught in order to prepare students to spend some time in Sweden and to be able to receive some elements of the Swedish culture and civilisation. During the class exchange, language courses of the host school will be organized for the guests. The lessons will be organized as team work in which guest students helped by their hosts will complete some tasks covering also basics of the target language.

The Swedish school

The Swedish students will participate in sessions of Romanian language basics taught by their Swedish teacher of Romanian origin. She is also the contact person for this project. The sessions will be done with all students involved in the activities of the project, a minimum of 25 hours being envisaged. Due to the big differences between the two languages the expected level of proficiency will be “BEGINNER”. Basics of the language will be presented, some common expressions will be taught  in order to prepare students to spend some time in Romania and to be able to receive some elements of the Romanian culture and civilisation.
