Safer Internet Day (SID) 2010

Safer Internet Day 2010

Today, February 9, it is Safer Internet Day (SID). This year’s theme for the day is Think before you post. Think before you publish, you could say that there is little free translation. SID was attentioned in various ways throughout Sweden and worldwide. In Sweden we have a web site, Surfa lugnt. Insafe is a European network of Awareness Centres promoting safe, responsible use of the Internet and mobile devices to young people. As a result of a vast investigation of the educational material landscape, a collection of Insafe Network Educational Resources are now online (zip file 117MB-updated 26 January 2010).

We in Skellefteå has not celebrated this day in a special way. How have you celebrated SID 2010 in Romania?

  1. Very well done, Andrea! 🙂 Now you have sowed a little seed that the world should take note of this new knowledge and think about ethics and morality on the web. We are very grateful!

Hope that our Romanian friends tell us about this international day of no importance in Romania? I wonder how they celebrate this day?
