Nils’, Jonas’, Leo’s and Benjamin’s Plans for the Common Activities

Week 11

Tuesday, 16/3 at 22:20

Welcome to Skellefteå, Sweden!!

Romanians’ arrival at Skellefteå Airport. All hosts, go there and pick up your guests: Olov, Leo, Dennis, Benjamin, Emelie, Nils, William, Viktor, Isak, Felicia, Jonas, Sofie, Andrea and the teachers Christer and Christina.

Wednesday, 17/3, at 8:30-10:30

Welcome to Anderstorpsskolan!

The headmaster Birgitta Lindström welcomes everyone and shows the Romanians around the school: reception, staff room, school nurse, refectory, the school’s various corridors and different programs, etc. SPID3b and the SPID-team have regular lessons during that time.

Wednesday, 17/3, at 11:30-13:00 LUNCH with SPID3b and SPID-teachers who are able and want to.
Wednesday, 17/3, at 13:00-13:35
Go together to the bus station. Not Nils, Viktor, Sofie, Felicia, HannesAmanda and Jacob because they have mathematics D and Chemistry B at VUX.
Wednesday, 17/3, at 13:35-16:10 Travel by bus or own car to Rönnskär. Visit Rönnskär Museum and smelting plant (Jonas‘, Leo‘s and Benjamin‘s responsibilities). The Swedish teachers StefanChristina and Christer go with the group.
Wednesday, 17/3, at 16:10-19:00 Sledge and barbeque (Jonas, Nils, Leo and Benjamin are responsible for that, the teachers Christina and Katarina go with the group. NOTE: You should have warm clothing.
Thursday, 18/3, at 8:30-10:30 Ski and skating in PE lessons with Erik and Katarina (Andreas‘ and Jonas‘ responsibility). We should bring some fruit and something to drink. NOTE: You should have warm clothing and perhaps toiletries if you intend to take a shower afterwards.
Thursday, 18/3, at 11:05-12:05 Visit the English lesson with Stefan and Christina in the computer room, G82.
Thursday, 18/3, at 12:05-12:30 LUNCH with SPID3b and SPID-teachers who are able and want to.
Thursday, 18/3, at 12:30-15:30 Visit the  Anna Nordlander Museum and Nordanå Museum (Nils‘ responsibility). Photography of the group, pairs or individually, for free! We get the pictures to take home with us. Christina and Stefan go with the group. Not Nils, Viktor, Sofie, Felicia, HannesAmanda and Jacob because they have mathematics D and Chemistry B at VUX. They will meet their Romanian guests at Balder or at the bus station after school and museum. Keep in touch via phone and text messages!
Thursday, 18/3, at 18:00-20:00 Curling (Jonas‘, Nils‘,  Leo‘s and Benjamin‘s responsibility). The Swedish teachers Dag, ChristinaChrister and Katarina go with the group.
Friday, 19/3, at 9:30-10:30 TeknoBalder, half of the CREW students – planetarium and different stations with various activities (Jonas‘, Nils‘, Leo‘s and Benjamin‘s responsibility). The Swedish teachers Lena and Christina are with the group.We meet at TeknoBalder at 9:30!
Friday, 19/3, at 17:00-18:00/19:00 Home Economics at Kanalskolan – we cook a Swedish dinner together (Leo‘s, Nils‘, Jonas‘ and Benjamin‘s responsibility). The Swedish teachers Katarina and Christina go with the group.
Friday, 19/3, at 18:00 – as long as you want… Kanalskolan, dancig, games, etc., that which is typically Swedish (Leo‘s, Nils‘, Jonas‘ and Benjamin‘s responsibility). The Romanians may bring a very nice and thoughtful booklet of many Swedish recipes and a brief summary of Swedish traditions. The writers are Nils, Jonas, Leo and Benjamin.
     Saturday, 20/3 and Sunday, 21/3 The Swedish CREW students want to have these two days to plan their own activities with their families and their Romanian guests. Some of the activities are: snow mobile, swmming in public baths, visit the barns and exhibition of dairy robots, SPA evening, skiing/snowboarding in Bygdsiljum, laserdome.We, the SPID-teachers, will plan our own activities together with the Romanian teachers:

  • Christina invites the Romanian teachers to eat älgskav (thin slices of elk meet) and a SPA-evening on Saturday.
  • Katarina invites all CREW-teachers to taste palt (potato dumplings) on Sunday.
  • Dag considers inviting home the Geography teacher, Alin, to show him the teams and all the animals and discuss peasant life with him.

Week 12

Monday, 22/3, at 8:30-12:00 The World Water Day in the central hall (Olov‘s and Samuel‘s responsibility, Christina supervisor).

  • Olov and Samuel present WWD (movie, game, quiz competition the water gains and presentation, water in the refectory, t-shirts with Nils‘ logo and the CREW‘s URL (they and the kitchen ladies).
  • Dennis and Isak present Skellefte river (movies, images, booklet and presentation)
  • Emelie and William present Bottenviken (the Gulf of Bothnia) (images, presentations and fishing pond)
  • Jacob and Hannes present the ecological system and its significance (test results, photos, presentation)
  • The film and photo team – Viktor, AndreasErik and Johan – present their camera equipment and they will go around and document it all, and continually publish on the blog all the activities we have with our Romanian guests.
  • The Romanians are running their own presentation.
  • Maybe the local magazine Norran will visit us.
Monday, 22/3, at 12:00-13:00 LUNCH with SPID3b and SPID-teachers who are able and want to.
Monday, 22/3, at 13:00-13:30 Go together to TeknoBalder.
Monday, 22/3, at 13:30-14:30 TeknoBalder, the second half of the CREW students – planetarium and different stations with various activities (Jonas‘, Nils‘, Leo‘s and Benjamin‘s responsibility). The Swedish teachers Lena, Katarina and Dag are with the group. 
Monday, 22/3, at 14:30-15:00 Go together to the bus station.
Monday, 22/3, at 15:00-16:57 Travel by bus or own car to WWTP Tuvan (Jonas‘ responsibility). Leaflets in Romanian. The Swedish teachers ChristinaChrister and Stefan go with the group.
Tuesday, 23/3, at 7:00-21:30 Ice Hotel (Leo‘s, Nils‘, Jonas‘ and Benjamin‘s responsibility in collaboration with HP3b). Bring something to do on the bus and some snacks. The price includes: bus trip, morning coffee on the bus, lunch in Gällivare, admission and guided tours of the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, dinner in Överkalix and a friendly tour guide, HP3b :-). The Swedish teachers Christina and Dag go with the group.
Wednesday, 24/3, at 8:30-11:15 (11:40) The Romanians go with their hosts to their respective classes: natural scientists – Physics A at VUX, social scientists – Science B with Sandra and Geography with Eva.
Wednesday, 24/3 at 11:15 (11:40) -13:00 LUNCH with SPID3b and SPID-teachers who are able and want to.
Wednesday, 24/3, at 13:00-14:00 The politician Ann-Christin Westerlund will visit us in the Blue hall (Leo‘s responsibility). Maybe the local magazine Norran will visit us.
Wednesday, 24/3 at 14:30-15:30 Visit by the school chief Jan Midlert in the Blue hall (Leo‘s responsibility). Maybe the local magazine Norran will visit us.
Thursday, 25/3, at 8:30:00-10:00 Prepare for the Project Work Exhibition (all students are responsible).
Thursday, 25/3, at 10:00-12:00 The Project Work Exhibition (all students are responsible), Christina supervisor). The exhibition is open to the public. It is a great day for our students.

Thursday, 25/3, at 12:00-12:30 LUNCH with SPID3b and SPID-teachers who are able and want to.
Thursday, 25/3, at 12:30-13:30 Lesson Visit – Math A, SPID1 at C57 with Christina (social scientists). The natural scientists are bringing their Romanian guests to VUX, Math D and Chemistry B. NOTE: It may be that the Romanians want to go shopping in town for one last time.
Thursday, 25/3, at 14:40-15:40 Lesson Visit – Swedish B, SPFL2 at E65 with Katarina (only the Romanian teachers). Football game Sweden-Romania at Anderstorpsskolan.
Friday, 26/3, at 5:30 Farewell! The host families bring their guests to Skellefteå Airport: Samuel, Julia, Amanda, Ida, Nils, William, Viktor, Isak, Felicia, Jonas, SofieAndrea and the teachers Christer and Christina.

  7. The program was very full of interesting and exciting. Congratulations to the team of students and coordinator of the Cristina teachers Crew Sweden Stefan Catarina Dag parents and students. It was a great experience.
