WMO (World Meteorological Organization)

World Meteorological Organization, WMO. Founded by the United Nations (FN) in 1950 for supporting a system of rapid exchange of meteorological information. They founded this system to quickly communicate the climate change in the United States and help each other. Right now there are 188 countries which are Member States of the Organization.

It supported the development of cooperation between meteorological and hydrological services and computer technology. Although research and education in these areas.

It uses a system of land-weather observations of satellites. It also uses a system that has developed itself as a monitoring system that detects changes in the atmosphere. WMO also supports research in meteorology, hydrology and water resources. They have technical cooperation and regional activities.
